Suga Free

Dejuan Walker (born January 17, 1970), better known by his stage name Suga Free, is an American rapper.

Biography [ edit ]

Suga Free was born in Gardena [1] and raised in Oakland, California, [2] later becoming based in Pomona, California.

He began his professional rapping career working with DJ Quik, with Quik serving as the producer on his debut album, Street Gospel, released in 1997, which reached number 37 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. [3] [4] [5]

He made guest appearances on Xzibit’s Restless and Snoop Dogg’s Tha Last Meal in 2000, and released a second album in 2004, The New Testament, which peaked at number 72 on the Billboard 200. [4] [5] Just Add Water followed in 2006, described by AllMusic: «Just Add Water may not be the complete handbook to being a pimp, but it certainly is a kind of missive on the life of Suga Free». [6] The album saw Suga described as «charismatic and funny, with a rapid- fire-yet-conversational style» by the Chicago Tribune. [7]

After a ten-year break, Suga Free released the album The Resurrection on May 5, 2019. [8]

Do the BTS Members Have Pets?

BTS is one of the world’s most popular music groups. The K-pop band constantly breaks records, and fans hope the Bangtan Boys will win a Grammy come April. BTS continues to rise in popularity and gain followers every day. So new fans might wonder, do any of the seven BTS members have pets?

BTS members Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, and RM have dogs

BTS pets range from dogs and cats to sugar gliders

Several BTS members have dogs that live with their families because of the bandmates’ busy schedules.

Jungkook’s family has a Maltese named Gureum. However, the singer admitted in an episode of the group’s reality TV show BTS in the Soop 2 that the rescue dog was getting old and could no longer see. Then, in early 2022, he posted on Instagram about his three other pups: Bam, Song, and Paeng. Bam is a Doberman Pinscher, and Song and Paeng are Italian greyhounds, Hindustan Times reports.

As for J-Hope, he has a Shih Tzu named Mickey. But the rapper revealed in the same BTS in the Soop 2 episode that his dog, like Jungkook’s Gureum, is aging and hard of hearing. J-Hope admitted it’s heartbreaking to watch pets age.

RM has a dog that has lived with his family since 2013. The fluffy white American Eskimo’s name is Rapmon. It’s short for “Rap Monster,” RM’s stage name before he shortened it.

In addition, Suga has a toy poodle, Holly. While the K-pop group was on hiatus, the rapper uploaded photos of him visiting Holly to the BTS Twitter account.

“Noo, yoongi with holly, and look at his precious smile 🙁 i missed u so much,” a fan tweeted in response.

Jin released a solo song titled “Tonight” in June 2019 for BTS Festa. He wrote and produced the single himself. BTS fans loved the ballad for Jin’s amazing vocals and the song’s heartbreaking lyrics. When Jin released the song, he told fans he wrote it while thinking about his pets.

“Hello, this is Jin. [‘Tonight’] is a song I wrote while thinking about my pets. It’s my first produced song, I hope you liked it,” Jin tweeted to ARMY.

In the past few years, many of Jin’s pets have died. His family dog, Jjangu, had lived with Jin’s family for 12 years before dying in 2017.

Jin loves a type of exotic pet known as sugar gliders. His sugar gliders Odeng and Eomuk lived with him in BTS’s dorm for a while. When the group’s schedule became busier, Odeng and Eomuk lived with Jin’s parents.

Eomuk died in 2018, and Odeng followed in 2019. After Eomuk was gone, Jin bought a sugar glider, Gukmul. As of this writing, that sugar glider is still alive.

BTS member V has 4 pets

V’s dog Yeontan is a black and tan Pomeranian that’s popular with BTS fans. They even celebrate Yeontan’s birthday. While the puppy was growing up, he lived with the BTS members in their dorm, so all bandmates share a close bond with Yeontan. When BTS’s schedule grew more hectic, V’s parents began taking care of Yeontan.

V also has a cat named Kkanji and two dogs named Soonshim and Sangdol who live with his parents.

Jimin does not have any pets

As of this writing, Jimin is the only BTS member without a pet. He had a mixed-breed dog, Ddosun, that unfortunately died. Since then, Jimin hasn’t adopted other pets.

However, he is known for his love of animals, especially dogs and cats. He loves V’s dog Yeontan, and anytime BTS films content with animals, Jimin always lights up.

“Jimin with animals is my love language,” a fan wrote on Twitter.
